François is the cook — and a good part of his day is spent finding delicious things for your plate.
The local vegetable growers know him well.
His black pork comes from the Cévennes, his fish from the Ardèche, and his cheeses from nearby villages.
Every ingredient brings a little of the surrounding countryside to your table.
Local matters. Organic is even better. But above all, it has to taste wonderful.

A table just for two
No need to head out tonight. Settle in at La Maison du Passage for a leisurely dinner at your own table for two. Enjoy a glass of wine, relax into the evening and leave the car keys in your room. Afterwards, your bed is only a short stroll away.
François’s cooking is full of flavour, thoughtfully balanced and refined. With Hervé looking after you at the table, dinner becomes a warm and personal part of your stay.
Proper tablecloths, a beautifully laid table and soft music set the scene, indoors or on the terrace as the season allows. Enjoy the intimacy of your own conversation, with friendly company nearby if you feel like chatting.
Dinner is part of life here, six evenings a week. Another reason to settle in for a few days and enjoy being looked after.

For Hervé, it starts with a crisp tablecloth, carefully chosen tableware and just the right music.
Then comes the art of looking after you: quietly attentive when you want time for two,
happily chatty when the conversation gets going.
In the kitchen, François brings a little imagination, a delicate touch and generous handfuls of fresh, local, seasonal ingredients.
Food made with care, to be enjoyed at leisure.
Vegetables already have a starring role in François’s cooking.
He’ll happily adapt the menu to create a satisfying vegetarian dinner, full of flavour and seasonal variety.

A proper French breakfast.
Our French breakfast is complimentary when you book directly with us.
Fresh coffee, pastries, bread and homemade jams… Some French rituals are worth taking your time over.
Whether you’re heading out to explore or no further than the pool, settle at your table for two. Coffee or tea, fruit juice, pastries, bread, homemade jams and yoghurt make a delicious start to the day.
Add a plate of eggs, scrambled, fried or made into an omelette, served with ham or cheese and a selection of raw vegetables according to the season.
¤10 per person, per day, in addition to the French breakfast.
Please order when booking, on arrival or the day before.
If you don't want to stray too far and enjoy the pool, nearby walks, or the house, let us know the day before or in the morning at breakfast.
We can prepare simple but always homemade and tasty dishes.
Trust us; we are proud to offer you this quality seasonal formula, served on one of the terraces or in the dining room.
Chicken salad, tomato mozzarella, mixed salad, cheese, fresh pasta... cheese, dessert, or a single dish.
It’s up to you. However, we never compromise on quality and freshness.
